Vision: You have made so much stuff going on at once, but at the same time I can tell everything that is going on. Good Job dude.
Originality: Sorry about this one, I've seen plenty of Warhammer 40k pics that do this, yours is the best so far though.
Technique: Like I said in vision, you have so much going on and I can tell everything thats going on. I love your shading and your smoke effects, the gunfire is also awesome.
Impact: Your picture slapped me in the face when I saw it. I nont think I can say much else. It slaps people in the face.
Failure at the least. This is actually very well done. I like how you have multiple characters portrayed in one scene without them being to squashed and none of them have the lighting or features merging together to where it seems like one confusing hodge podge. And the lighting sources suit well with the color of the armor and the glowing energy being fired from the weapons. It's all about where it should be for an action scene. And even the enviroment itself is well composed and has it's own depths. The textures used to make the scenery clearly evoke a barren battlefield on another planet.
Figure I'll chime in here. First off, fantastic color work on cronevald's original image. Second, this piece was done for me and is an actual Kill Team that was played in the Deathwatch RPG. For those interested, the assembled group is as follows: Brother Yngvar of the Space Wolves, Brother Thor of the Lamenters, Brother Marius of the Iron Hands, Brother Calibos of the Dark Angels, and Brother Ae'dan of the Salamanders.
